IT is an integral part of our office, and you’ll quickly notice it on your first visit. We use Power Practice software – an almost entirely computerized appointment and case management system.
Our clinic offers 2 treatment rooms. One is open-plan and the other is private for those who prefer more privacy.
Safety first: sterilization control in our office is very important to us. To protect ourselves and our patients, our sterilization standards are very strict, and comply with the recommendations of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists and the Ordre des dentistes du Québec.
Autoclaving is the most common method of sterilization. It involves the use of moist heat under pressure to kill micro-organisms. The procedure respects a precise time and temperature, generally 121* C for 15 to 30 minutes.
The instruments are placed in the autoclave, and once the cycle is complete, they are ready for use after cooling.
From digital radiography to digital imaging, we use the latest generation of equipment to offer you the best technology available.
Your safety and that of your child is one of our primary concerns. For several years now, we have been using digital radiography. This method reduces patient exposure to x-rays by at least 50%.
The specialized equipment in our laboratory and the training and 28 years’ experience of our on-site technician enable us to manufacture, to our precise specifications, virtually every type of appliance we use during orthodontic treatment and retention.
