The duration of treatment varies according to the severity of the case. Certain conditions, such as impacted teeth, adult treatment and poor patient cooperation, can increase the duration of treatment. A staged treatment generally extends over a period of 12 to 36 months.
A short adaptation period is to be expected following the installation of new equipment.

Fitting the braces is usually painless. When the wires are attached to the braces, you may experience some tooth pain for a few days. Soft tissues (cheeks and lips) will become accustomed to the appliance after a few weeks.
